A refreshing and fruity Raspberry Moscato Cocktail perfect for warm evenings, combining fresh raspberry puree with sweet Moscato wine, vodka, and sparkling water for a bubbly finish. Garnished with mint leaves and fresh raspberries, this cocktail is both elegant and easy to prepare.

Ingredients

Fruit and Garnish

  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • Mint leaves for garnish
  • Extra fresh raspberries for garnish

Liquids

  • 4 ounces Moscato wine
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1 cup sparkling water or club soda

Other

  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar (optional)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Prepare Raspberry Puree: In a small bowl, combine the fresh raspberries and granulated sugar, if using. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to mash the raspberries thoroughly, creating a juicy puree packed with flavor.
  2. Strain Puree (Optional): For a smoother cocktail without raspberry seeds, strain the mashed puree through a fine mesh sieve, pressing gently to extract the juice while removing seeds.
  3. Mix Cocktail: Add the prepared raspberry puree, Moscato wine, and vodka into a cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker halfway with ice, seal it tightly, and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to blend and chill the flavors effectively.
  4. Prepare Glasses: Fill two cocktail glasses with ice cubes to keep the drink cool and refreshing.
  5. Assemble Drinks: Strain the shaken cocktail mixture evenly into the glasses over the ice. Then pour ½ cup of sparkling water or club soda into each glass to add a light, bubbly texture.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Add a sprig of fresh mint and a few fresh raspberries to each glass for an attractive presentation. Serve immediately and enjoy your delightful Raspberry Moscato Cocktail.

Notes

  • If you prefer a less sweet cocktail, you may omit the granulated sugar.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, replace Moscato wine and vodka with additional sparkling water or a non-alcoholic sparkling grape juice.
  • Use fresh raspberries for the best flavor; frozen raspberries can work in a pinch but may alter texture.
  • Chill the Moscato wine beforehand for an even cooler drink.
